Mode of Action

Exyprole acts as a powerful modulator of the ryanodine receptors (RyRs) in the insect's muscles. Chlorantraniliprole causes the uncontrolled release of stored calcium from the sarcoplasmic reticulum into the muscle cells. This leads to immediate muscle paralysis, cessation of feeding, and lethargy, followed by the death of the pest within 24–72 hours.
