The Flomatic 2133T 208T/S 1 1/2" ball check valve is designed to be fully automatic in operation and well suited for applications involving solids, fibers, or viscous materials. This model features a corrosion-resistant PVC body with a threaded female x female connection and an E‑Z access port for convenient service.

Operation: Ball check valves have one moving part, the ball, which moves automatically out of the flow path during operation. When flow stops, the ball rolls back into position to provide a positive seal against backflow.

Installation: Suitable for horizontal or vertical installation. In horizontal installations, 20 feet of static head is recommended for proper seating; in vertical installations, 10 feet is recommended. For service, the ball can be removed by unscrewing and lifting off the cover without removing the valve from the line.

Construction: The PVC body provides corrosion resistance and maintenance-free service. The self-cleaning Buna-N sinking ball and Nitrile seal support dependable shutoff. The E‑Z access port allows ball removal without line disassembly.

Applications: Wastewater systems, sump and effluent service, industrial piping, and other applications where corrosive environments or solids-handling conditions are present.
