Hawk Performance's HP Plus brake pad compound is perfect for autocross and track day drivers looking for a high-performance race compound that will take you to the track hot and get you home safely without having to change pads. HP Plus features a proprietary Ferro-Carbon developed and manufactured for sport driving in autocross, Solo II, and "track day" applications. Ferro-Carbon formulation provides lower wear rates and higher torque values ​​than other competitive materials. The extremely high coefficient of friction makes HP Plus the perfect stock upgrade for performance street cars used in autocross competition or those that experience repetitive heavy braking. [Caution] This product achieves "race-level" braking with dramatic friction levels, which may affect rotor wear, noise, dust, and pad life. NOTE: Hawk Performance burns HP Plus brake pads as a final step at the factory and all brake pads must be assembled with the rotor (new or used) in which they are used. When properly laid, new brake pads create a transfer film at the pad-to-rotor interface to maximize braking performance.
