They have a smaller cross section than machined needle roller bearings and have limited installation space. A complete complement of rollers provides higher radial load capacity than cage rollers. The needle rollers are made of through-hardened high carbon chrome steel for durability and heat resistance, and have contoured edges to optimize contact stress distribution. These radial needle roller bearings meet ASTM international standard ASTM F2162 quality assurance and are used in a variety of applications including car and truck transmissions, agricultural and construction equipment, pumps and compressors, and two-stroke engines.
