Pompadour PrintThis all time Zoffany classic has been repainted in a relaxed watercolour style. A hand drawn interpretation of an original document, its influences are thought to come from a late 19th century French artwork, painted to emulate earlier (17th to early 18th century) woven and embroidered textiles. Quirky and uplifting, Baroque style scrolling foliage and stylised flowers give an overall effect that is rather grand, hence the name Pompadour.
