The Uflex TM87 18" Rack & Pinion Steering System is a high-efficiency mechanical helm package engineered to deliver responsive, direct steering control for powerboats equipped with mechanical steering linkages. Built around proven rack-and-pinion technology, this system gives you a positive, predictable helm feel, improving handling and maneuverability on vessels where precision and reliability are essential.

Installation & Usage Notes

• Horsepower Limits: This steering system is not intended for use on boats equipped with engines that exceed the vessel's maximum horsepower rating.

• Steering Wheel: Please note that a steering wheel is not included in this kit; however, the universal shaft allows you to easily reuse your existing one or choose a new style.

• Tight Clearance: The compact design and 7.9" bend radius make this system an excellent choice for boats with limited space behind the dashboard.
