Vitamin D Supreme contains 5,000 IU (125 mcg) of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) per serving, for when higher doses are required for vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency. Vitamin D can be hard to obtain in the winter months when we are not getting exposure to sunshine. Our bodies cannot get enough vitamin D from diet alone, so the UK government recommends supplementing from the months of October to March.
