The incredible performance of the Commander is driven by the relentless passion for kiteboarding and technology of Austrian board shaper Franz Schitzhofer. Made for radical maneuvers and insane technical tricks, the Commander delivers the second the board touches the water. To achieve this, we fused a rare low-density Paulownia 3D wood core with performance-tech materials. A Triax Carbon Composite optimizes the torsional stiffness while a carbon fiber stringer with specific compression properties creates the distinctive rebound flex. Durability was improved by installing a new Biax Layer alignment with additional fiberglass reinforcement patches. The board is heavy-rider-proof.
