This is an antique necklace composed of beautiful orange/red branch coral beads that are Italian. The coral is all natural and hasn't been treated or dyed in any way. It has graduated long spiky branches that are over 1¼ inches long in the center. It is high quality coral that has excellent polish and no pores or visible flaws. This orange color was favored in Victorian jewelry and through the beginning of the 20th century. It is now rare and difficult to find.
