Installation Pro-Tips

• Preparation is Vital: The 3M adhesive is only as good as the surface it sticks to. Clean the deck area thoroughly with Isopropyl Alcohol (Rubbing Alcohol) to remove all wax, dirt, and non-skid cleaners before applying.

• Avoid "Dry-Fitting" with Backing: Lay the pad down with the backing still on to ensure perfect alignment. Use blue painter's tape to mark the corners before you start the peeling process.

• Pressure is Key: Once the pad is laid down, use a small laminate roller or your body weight to apply firm pressure across the entire surface to activate the adhesive bond.

• Temperature: For the best results, install the pad when the deck temperature is between 60°F and 90°F (15°C - 32°C).
