Fanatec ClubSport DD

The Fanatec ClubSport DD delivers high-performance Direct Drive force feedback in a compact and refined package built for serious sim racers. Designed around Fanatec’s latest Direct Drive architecture and paired with the QR2 quick release system, the ClubSport DD provides fast response times, smooth detail reproduction, and excellent consistency across long racing sessions.

Originally released with 12 Nm of holding torque, the ClubSport DD now supports up to 15 Nm of holding torque through Fanatec firmware version V1.4.2.3 or newer, unlocking additional force feedback strength and dynamic range.

Direct Drive Performance

Unlike belt-driven wheelbases, the ClubSport DD connects the steering wheel directly to the motor shaft for more immediate, precise, and detailed feedback.

Important Notes

• Firmware Update: Holding torque increased from 12 Nm to 15 Nm through Fanatec firmware version V1.4.2.3 or newer.
• QR2 Lite Limitation: Steering wheels using the QR2 Lite Wheel-Side are limited to 8 Nm torque output.
• Safety: Direct Drive wheelbases generate strong force feedback and are not suitable for children. Always mount the wheelbase securely to a rigid cockpit or sim racing chassis.
