This is a starter kit, we recommend you do your research and evolve your heating & lighting as you learn and grow in your reptile keeping journey. It will differ based on your reptile's species, personality and habits as well as the environment of your human home.

This starter kit works best with a solid top Apex Reptile 1/2-inch PVC enclosure sized 3'x2'x2' (UVB bar placed diagonally), 4'x2'x2' (Best fit) or 6'x2'x2', larger sizes may need two or more kits.

You must use the heat bulb with a thermostat.
