Prevent MaxxFan Bezel Cracks with Moonraker Design Co's Anti-Crack Ring

The MaxxFan was designed to be mounted on the top of a flat RV or Trailer roof, not the corrugated ribbed roofs on our sprinter vans. Installing a MaxxFan on your Sprinter Van roof without this piece can lead to point loading issues and potential cracking of the plastic bezel flange over time. At Moonraker Design Co, we've tackled this challenge head-on with our MaxxFan Anti-Crack Ring.

Crafted from durable single piece (for easy install) of 0.080” thick aluminum, our Anti-Crack Ring effectively spreads the load of each screw point across the entire surface of the flange, minimizing the risk of cracks and ensuring a secure installation.

This will fit MaxxFan, AirPlus & the ProBreeze (TecVan) Fan Flanges.

Installation Information

• Additional Precautions: Use a compression method or firing strips inside the van for added stability, avoiding reliance solely on self-tapping screws provided with the MaxxAir Fan.
• Even Tightening: Ensure all bolts are tightened evenly in a criss-cross pattern for uniform seating.
• Seal After Finishing: We recommend to seal over the Anti-Crack Ring and MaxxFan bezel with Dicor Lap Sealant or Flexseal after installation
