Installation & Safety Pro-Tips

• Double Clamping is Mandatory: To comply with ABYC safety standards, all wet exhaust connections must be secured with two (2) 316 stainless steel T-bolt clamps at each end.

• Check Your Clearance: 6-inch silicone hose has a thick wall. Ensure you have enough clearance around stringers or bulkheads, as the outer diameter (OD) will be approximately 6.5 inches.

• Avoid Sharp Bends: While silicone is flexible, it is not designed for "kinking." For tight turns, use a fiberglass or stainless steel elbow and join them with shorter sections of this hose.

• Cutting to Fit: If 36 inches is too long, this hose can be cut with a fine-tooth hacksaw. Ensure the cut is perfectly square to provide a proper seal against the barb.
