Diamond Pattern:

The 2.0 Diamond (waffle) traction design is the tried and tested traction design of choice for most surfers.  It offers a sharp heightened diamond that provides a 'sharp' and predictable feel with extra padding to stomp those big airs! 

The diamond pattern will match the traction pad design of most aftermarket directional kiteboards and surfboard tail pads.  A matching traction will provide predictable and even traction on your front and back foot.   

Groove Pattern:

The 3.0 groove traction pad is thinner than the diamond design which minimizes the amount of water catching on the deck pad, it also provides great grip with minimal thickness and maximum board feel.  This pad makes the board surprisingly grippy in booties!

Go ahead, put your surfboard upside down in the sand.  Sand, mud or dirt aren't going to stick to your wax anymore with the WMFG deck traction!
