Purity

Nyos PURE salt mix contains sodium chloride cleaned during a multi-step process, making it purer than salts which are acquired via sea water evaporation alone. PURE salt also uses pharmeceutical-grade, high quality calcium and magnesium compounds with an ultra-low concentration of unwanted substances. Due to the lack of organic contaminants, PURE salt mix will not tinge your water yellow or leave behind insoluble white or black particles when dissolved. This means less maintenance and cleaning of your mixing and storage containers as well!

Solubility

Due to the purity of the ingredients and the small particle size, Nyos PURE dissolves in around 5 minutes at room temperature. The saltwater is then ready for immediate use-- no need to let it sit and "mature" prior to adding to the aquarium.

Consistency

Nyos uses a special mixing process that is normally reserved for the food and pharmaceutical industries. This process creates consistent batch quality as well as a highly homogenous mixture with attuned particle sizes. This means that the salt levels in the bucket will NOT differ from the top, middle, or bottom; nor will they change as the bucket is being used up.

Optimized for Reef Aquariums

Nyos PURE has been tested long-term in coral farms to show a positive effect on growth, color, and polyp expansion. Furthermore, PURE does not contain organic additives which can encourage unwanted algae or cyano bacteria growth. Because it does not contain elevated levels of calcium, carbonate hardness, and magnesium; PURE salt water can be used when changing both small and large quantities of water and stored for a longer period of time with no ill effects.

ICP Batch Controlled

Every batch of Nyos PURE is controlled and documented on the basis of an ICP analysis. The most important values of the respective salt bucket can be found on the lid of each bucket, and the full ICP analysis can be accessed by simply scanning the QR Code. This way, you can know exactly what you are putting into your aquarium with each bucket.
